Cloud Penetration Testing

Cloud penetration testing asks one question: if an attacker got a foothold, how far could they go? We test your workloads, identities and exposed services the way a real attacker would, within your cloud provider's testing policies.

FAQ

Common questions

How is this different from a cloud security assessment?

A cloud pentest simulates an attacker exploiting weaknesses. A cloud security assessment reviews configuration against benchmarks. Many clients combine both.

Do we need cloud provider approval?

AWS, Azure and GCP allow testing of most services without prior approval, within their published policies. We confirm this during scoping.

Which cloud platforms do you test?

AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform, including Kubernetes and serverless workloads running on them.

Can testing affect our production workloads?

We avoid disruptive techniques and agree test windows and exclusions in advance. Most cloud testing is low-risk when properly scoped.

Do you test SaaS applications we use, like Microsoft 365?

We can review how your tenant is configured, but testing the SaaS provider's own infrastructure isn't permitted. We focus on your configuration and identities.
