FAQ

Common questions

Which scanning tools do you use?

We work with your existing tools where possible, or deploy industry-standard scanners as part of the service.

How often is scanning run?

Typically monthly for internal assets and more frequently for internet-facing assets, adjusted to your compliance requirements.

How is this different from a penetration test?

A penetration test is a deep, point-in-time exercise. Vulnerability management is continuous: regular scanning, prioritisation and tracking fixes to closure.

What are remediation SLAs?

Agreed timeframes for fixing vulnerabilities by severity — for example, critical issues within days and low-risk issues within months. We help you set realistic SLAs.

Do you fix the vulnerabilities for us?

Your teams own the fixes, but we prioritise, give clear guidance, verify closure and escalate overdue items.
